    1) Definity R9.5 Software or greater. 
    2) A TN2501AP VAL circuit pack with ethernet connection
    3) Browser Access to the Customer Support Web site <http://support.avaya.com>,
       or another way to get the Target File. 
    4) FTP application on your PC or Local Computer. 
    5) TN2501AP Firmware Vintage 01 - 05, Hardware Vintage 01 
    6) inads, dadmin, craft or a customer login that has been enabled
       for system maintenance.

Step 1. Direct your browser to <http://support.avaya.com>.  
        Click the "ONLINE SERVICES" link near the top left of the page. 

Step 2. You should now be at a page with a menu on the left.  In the menu
        is a choice called "Software/Firmware Downloads".  Click it!

Step 3. Now you should be at a page with a large table on it.  Find and
        click on the following entry...

This release of the TN2501AP Firmware (Vintage 6) contains a simple 
correction.  Previous versions of the firmware had an incorrect SNMP Object 
Identifier.  This firmware will report the correct OID.  Firmware Vintage 6 
also contains the changes contained in Firmware Vintages 4 and 5.

Firmware Vintage 5 contains an updated SNMP Agent which will successfully 
pass the PROTOS test suite from the University of OULU.  Firmware vintage 5 
addresses vulnerabilities referred to in the CERT Advisory CA-2002-03 
(http://www.cert.org/advisories/CA-2002-03.html). 

Firmware Vintage 4 fixes the incorrect playback of certain .wav files.  
The problem symptom is a variable length click at the end of a playback.
