This
book is intended for the MERLIN LEGENDŽ telephone operator with a
queued call console (the operator receives one call at a time,
other incoming calls wait in a holding queue). A Queued Call
Console is an MLX-20L telephone with or without a Direct Station
Selector. This book includes a description of the console,
including headsets, the display, the Direct Station Selector, and
line and DSS buttons. Information on handling calls and using
operator features is included. Feature descriptions include
Barge-In, Alarm, Camp-On, Voice Mail System Guides, Night Service, Inspect,
Position Busy, and Pickup. The telephone operator of a Queued Call
Console should also have the MLX-10D, MLX-28D, and MLX-20L Display
