Voice Announce Enable/Disable allows you to hear either a Voice Announcement or a beep over the intercom path on intercom calls.

If the Intercom Voice is disabled on a telephone, a Group Page announcement will not go through to that telephone.

To program a Merlin 206 Feature Package 2:
Make sure the system is not in the Admin mode at the Control Unit if you are trying to program extension 10.

1. Go to telephone set that requires Voice Announce.
2. Hang up handset.
3. Slide the T/P switch to 'P' for program; the telephone will flash and ring.
4. Press the [Intercom] button, located above Conference on a 10-button telephone or larger and above Transfer on 5-button telephone.
   • Green light on = Voice Announcement over intercom is allowed.
   • Green light off = No Voice over intercom allowed.
5. Slide the T/P switch back to center or dot position.
