How do I program Auto Answer Intercom?

Available on all Releases

Allows the Hands-Free Unit (HFU) to go on automatically when receiving intercom calls.

  • - Use this feature instead of Auto Answer-All, with an HFU.
  • - If you have a built-in speakerphone or Hands-Free Answer on Intercom (HFAI), you don't need to program this feature.
  • - Both Auto Answer-All & Auto Answer-Intercom can be programmed on the phone, but they cannot be active at the same time.

To program an Auto Answer-Intercom button:

  1. T/P switch to [P].
  2. Press a programmable button.
  3. Dial [*70].
  4. T/P switch to center.

     

To use:

  1. To have a hands-free unit go on automatically when you receive intercom calls, press [Auto Answer-Intercom].

     

    • - The green light next to the button goes on.

       

  2. To return to answering calls yourself, press [Auto Answer-Intercom] again.

     

    • - The green light next to the button goes off.
